Where do we want to go? – Part 2

We’ve had some more ideas!

Had a good chat at the weekend and have come up with preliminary ininary. This of course, may (probably will) change when it comes round to looking for flights but this is what we want at the moment.

London
Qatar – 3 weeks

• including Karen, Dubai, Petra…

Bankok to Beijing – 3 months

• Plan is to overland through Thailand, Loas, (Vietnam) and China
• along the way we want to see…

Borneo and Indonesia – 5 weeks

• Maybe stop off in Hong Kong on way over
• want to see orangutang in Borneo, and a million other things
• probably just one other indonesian island to do some diving

New Zealand – 4 months

• maybe stop off at Perth/Sydney on the way
• too many things to mention
• if weather not great when we start, might even go over to GBR
• lots to do, probably set up camp here for a while. Buy/Rent a caravan
• plan to get there for spring, stay for early summer
• Stop off at Fiji and/or another S.Sea Island on way to…

South America – 3 months

• Rio for NY )
• Possibly Machu Pichu or something similar
• Possibly go down from Rio to Argentina
• Cuba for some Mojitos

Where do we want to go?

I am not sure in how much detail we should plan but here a few thought of where we think we want to go. Of course, this is just how things stand at the moment. Basically we don’t have much of a clue and want to go everywhere. A year is not long enough!!!

*edit* I like the idea of travelling overland from Bangkok, through Thailand, Loas, (Vietnam), into china, to Xian and then Beijing and fly out from there *edit*

A rough, to be edited, list of things we are going to need to get before we go travelling. I know it is a long time off but we are coming up to Christmas…
